Seascape Double-sided Bookmark
Seascape Double-sided Bookmark
1 Side full-colour printed, 1 side monochrome with space for a heading
350gsm Recycled card
21 x 5 cm (same height as an A5 notebook)
These bookmarks are, in my opinion, the perfect combination of sophisticated pretty bookmark and practical page marker. (Just what any journaling or planner-addicted folk like me might appreciate)
On one side this bookmark has a full colour, uninterrupted from edge-to-edge print of my Seascape pattern, which is our first voyage into underwater designs and has originally hand-drawn fish and coral motifs as inspired by a family trip to Bristol Aquarium and some my own favourite childhood memories of visiting the Great Barrier Reef.
On the other side this is a page marker with a monochrome line-drawing version of the pattern, along with a clear ‘empty’ circle for you to annotate in any way, if you want to. Maybe you want to add a ‘Today’ heading, or ‘To-do’. Or perhaps you want to put your name on it to easily identify your book.
They’re made from 350gsm recycled card so nice and thick, but not so thick that they’re going to put unnecessary pressure on the spine of any book it's in. And of course they’re uncoated card so you can write on whatever you need, or even colour-in the other side if you’d like too. As a size guide too they’re the same in length as an A5 notepad/notebook.
I’ve been using versions of these bookmarks for a little while, and I’ve found being able to use them as page markers incredibly useful, especially as I can move them from notebook to notebook. My kids use them in their school reading books, and I’ve got a few that stick with my reading pile before bed. (I had thought I’d write the date I started a book on them but realised I don’t read quick enough for that!)
Please note that the bookmarks don’t come individually wrapped, although they will be put in an envelope for posting out for some added protection.
There’s 7 different patterns of bookmarks now, meaning 1 for all but 1 of the notebook designs. Bookmarks are available individually or, should you buy more, there's automatic discounts for pairs or sets of 4. They make a great gift for an avid reader and book worm, but also for anyone who loves their planner or maybe wants to take up bullet journalling, mindfulness/gratitude journalling or starting a new creative practice. In fact there’s some gift sets ready to wrap and send on as gifts in the shop, including journaling gift sets and letterbox gift sets.
