Moonlit Moths A5 Daily Planner Pad

Bringing some colourful, yet gentle, energy to your planning, this multicoloured Moonlit Moths desk planning pad has easy to tear-off pages and is perfect for helping bring focus your day.  Use it for your morning to-do lists, to breakdown tasks on a specific project or day, or having to hand in the kitchen for shopping lists or housework sorting (and yes, just because the jobs are boring they can still be written on something fun!). 

The Moonlit Moths pattern came about around the same time as my Butterfly House design, which followed a trip to a butterfly house with my young daughters who found the sheer number of winged insects around them mind-blowing.  Using my original hand-drawn sketch, these motifs were refined digitally before turning them into a repeat pattern.  

The idea of this daily planner pad is, just like the larger A4 weekly planner pads, that the boxes can provide a little bit of structure, but that you can use them for whatever you need that day, dividing up your daily tasks and other priorities into manageable sections to help you work through them and not get too overwhelmed.

For example the top section could be your priorities for the day, the middle section could be what actions you need to take to get it done and the bottom could be what you need to delegate or move to the next day.  Or maybe the top section is what activities the family has on that day, the middle section is a general to-do list, and the bottom sections track how much you’ve drunk that day (because it’s been a busy one!) and who you might need to drop an email or a message to. 

Each pad has 50 identical pages, printed on recycled 100gsm paper so it’s beautifully smooth and can easily cope with you highlighting things or using a more inky pen to write with.  In fact the printer who made these specialises in eco-printing, and also uses vegetable oil based inks.  The writing panels are ever so slightly see-through, so you can see the pattern underneath, but you can still very easily read everything you’ve noted down. The notepad is also backed with recycled board, which gives it some rigidity but also means it’s a fully recycled and recyclable product too! And to top it off it will arrive with a recyclable belly band around it and no plastic in sight. 

These pads are a great gift-able size, being A5 they’re easy to post and whilst they work great as part of a gift set (more about those below) they’re a brilliant unique but also budget-friendly gift for a colleague, a colourful Secret-Santa surprise, or even a practical but fun thank you for a teacher.  I’m a firm believer that a great piece of patterned stationery really is a gift for nearly all situations!

All packaging is plastic free, from tags and belly bands to postal packaging, and where possibly is also used multiple times. 

If your item does come covered, it’s in a biodegradable cellophane which will naturally decompose but also keeps your paper looking crisp on it’s travels.

All orders are processed within 3-5 working days and standard postage is via Royal Mail Tracked 48. 

All items are sent plastic free and in some cases the postal packaging you receive may have been used before.  Wherever possible I do recycle packaging, but I do check it’s in good enough condition to protect your items before it’s used.  I don’t, however, think it’s right to say I'm all about being sustainable and then use totally fresh postal packaging for every order. 

For all non-personalised items we accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, as long as the item is unused and in its original condition.

Do you make everything yourself? 

All the designs you see on my products are the results of my own original hand-drawn artwork which in turn I transform digitally into repeat patterns.  The physical products are then printed/made/sewn by specialist manufacturers from around the UK. 

Do you use AI in your designs?

AI (Artificial intelligence) is not used at any stage of my creative process. 

As a small business who uses lots of different tools, it’s impossible to avoid AI altogether in the running of my business, but my creative process is absolutely where I draw the line.  You can read more about my thoughts on AI, and how it is involved in other areas of my business, in this blog post.
