Brighton Birds Notepad Gift Set

The perfect little gift set for a letterbox gift, stationery-loving colleague, to say thanks to a teacher or even to put in for an office secret santa.  This set combines the two most popular notepad sizes - A5 and a List pad - and combined together is an elegant and unique stationery gift set. 

The Brighton Birds pattern is a chinoiserie-style pattern inspired by trips to the Royal Pavillion in Brighton where I used to go on art trips when at school.  I can still remember just how in awe of all the colours and patterns being used on it’s interiors and once I started drawing these birds I knew there was only one direction in which to develop this pattern. All the motifs are originally hand-drawn and painted, before being digitised and tweaked in scale to create a more complex repeat pattern I’ve then used across the collection. 

This set includes on A5 notepad, and one List pad, both of which are on 100gsm recycled paper and printed with vegetable oil based inks.  Each pad has 50 sheets, and are glued together along the narrower top edge, although they’re very easy to tear off as you need to. Both pads have a ever-so-slightly transparent central panel so you can still see the pattern underneath, but only faintly so anything you write is also easy to read.  

Each notepad is individually wrapped with a paper belly band, and then they'll be wrapped together for posting in a sheet of Holchester Designs recycled paper wrap.   Alternatively I can fully gift wrap them, include a handwritten note, and post directly to the recipient - which these happen to be perfect for as they easily fit within a letterbox friendly box. Just tick the box and leave the instructions during the checkout process.

All packaging is plastic free, from tags and belly bands to postal packaging, and where possibly is also used multiple times. 

If your item does come covered, it’s in a biodegradable cellophane which will naturally decompose but also keeps your paper looking crisp on it’s travels.

All orders are processed within 3-5 working days and standard postage is via Royal Mail Tracked 48. 

All items are sent plastic free and in some cases the postal packaging you receive may have been used before.  Wherever possible I do recycle packaging, but I do check it’s in good enough condition to protect your items before it’s used.  I don’t, however, think it’s right to say I'm all about being sustainable and then use totally fresh postal packaging for every order. 

For all non-personalised items we accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, as long as the item is unused and in its original condition.

Do you make everything yourself? 

All the designs you see on my products are the results of my own original hand-drawn artwork which in turn I transform digitally into repeat patterns.  The physical products are then printed/made/sewn by specialist manufacturers from around the UK. 

Do you use AI in your designs?

AI (Artificial intelligence) is not used at any stage of my creative process.
